Key Differences Between Fellow and Adam.ai
1 Get inspired about what to include in your meeting agenda
Imagine yourself scheduling a meeting: you create the calendar event, invite meeting attendees, then when it’s time to create an agenda you find yourself staring at a blank page. That’s why the team at Fellow has curated an extensive template library of 100+ templates that take the guesswork and anxiety over meeting preparation. While Adam.ai does showcase some templates on their blog, there’s no easy way to see that template in-app. So when you go to create a meeting agenda, you’re stuck staring at a blank page.
2 A more complete manager tool-kit
Being a manager is more than just taking part in project-based meetings! Oftentimes, a manager holds 1-on-1s with their direct reports, gives and requests feedback, and helps their team grow in their careers. While Adam.ai doesn’t offer any specific support for this, Fellow supports managers with built in features for 1-on-1s, feedback, and goals. Outside of features, Fellow also has free ebooks and other educational resources that can help managers help their teams!
3 Understand how your goals fit into the bigger picture
Typically, goals fit under a larger objective. Adam.ai treats goals like any other todo list or task – it has a due date and can be checked off. However, this approach can lead to missing context! Recently, Fellow launched a feature for objectives and key results (OKRs) that helps teams see how their goals fit into the larger picture. But if you’re just looking for checkable action items with due dates, Fellow offers that too!

Restoration of order to the universe
Fellow is a system where you can queue up your thoughts for discussion with the right people which relieves your brain of using its scarce neurological RAM, and saves your co-workers time by consolidating 20 mini meetings into one temporally efficient one. If you are the type of person that is serious about your work, I would highly recommend trying out Fellow.

The glue that keeps me together
This tool is the glue that keeps me together. I have been able to pull together so many parts of my day all in one tool. I can capture meeting notes, record action items, plan my goals, and get feedback for my team members. I can organize so many areas all in one tool. Big bonuses are the articles that are shared with users every week. There are so many great articles that help me to continue to learn and grow in my role.

Fellow gives me superpowers
Fellow is my second brain. It helps me keep all of my one-on-ones organized, track goals for my reports, remember important details about their lives. Fellow provides helpful suggestions for those times when a one-on-one might be slower than usual and I need inspiration for areas to cover. Fellow also allows our teams to collaborate on meeting agendas in real time, keep notes for those meetings and provide accountability for follow-ups.

Love love love Fellow
I love that I have everything I need to collaborate with others in one place. Particularly, the meeting agendas and that they’re linked to Google calendar events! Having recurring meetings, specifically 1:1’s separated into Streams makes it really easy to find and look back on all the things we’ve discussed. I especially enjoy the feature of carrying forward unchecked agenda or action items. The templates feature is amazing as well – having suggestions for 1:1s or feedback requests.

Significantly improved our remote working environment
Templates are a game-changer for our team. We quickly upgraded to an Organization plan in order to utilize them, and it’s worth every penny. Our HR team setup some core templates for 1:1’s, leadership meetings, etc. which has made it much easier for our team to stay consistent and aligned with corporate objectives.

I Fellow ALL the things
I appreciate how organized Fellow keeps me. Not only do I use Fellow to make an agenda and take notes for every meeting and 1:1, but I also have various Private Streams that I use to keep track of things like a Weekly To-Do List, Projects, My Impact, Leadership Books, etc. It’s awesome to be able to prepare an agenda ahead of time, link in any relevant material, then have the attendees collaborate together and compile notes together.
